Dr. Croissant specializes in spine and tumor surgery. He is board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons and is a member of both county and state medical societies. He has served as president for both the Oakland County Medical Society and the Michigan Association of Neurological Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurosurgeons, of which he is a past member of the Governing Executive Committee. He has also served as president of the Council of State Neurosurgical Societies and as an examiner for the American Board of Neurological Surgeons.

Dr. Croissant is a graduate of Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has completed an internship and one year of general surgery at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in neurological surgery at Temple University. He has been a clinical instructor at the University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Currently, Dr. Croissant is an attending neurosurgeon at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland and past Chief of the Division of Neurological Surgery. Additionally, he is a neurosurgery Editorial Board Member for the official Journal of Association of Program Directors in Surgery.
