Dr. Nida is a general neurosurgeon with a broad expertise in treating most adult neurosurgical disorders. He specializes in the management of complex spinal disorders of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbosacral areas. Traumatic head and spine injuries are of great interest, and he has published basic science research on the subject.
Dr. Nida is board-certified and has been treating patients in Southeast Michigan for over ten years. A native of Minnesota, he completed his undergraduate studies at St. Olaf College and went on to medical school at the University of Minnesota, in Minneapolis. He then spent one year in Washington, D.C. completing a general surgery (trauma) internship before returning to the University of Minnesota to complete his neurosurgical residency training. He continues to maintain academic activity, which involves teaching both general and neurosurgical residents participating in local training programs.
Dr Nida and his partners formed Michigan Head & Spine Institute, P.C. and together treat all neurosurgical conditions.
